The analytics layer your ABA practice has been missing.
Pre-built reporting for authorization risk, workforce productivity, and earned revenue — on Microsoft technology you already use.
Starts at $10k · One-time setup · Runs on Power BI / Fabric
Your EMR tells you what happened. Rova tells you how your business is performing.
Your EMR is your system of record. It’s great at running your operation.
But it wasn’t built to answer the questions you’re asking every Monday morning:
- Which authorizations are expiring this month — and how does utilization compare to what was authorized?
- What’s our earned revenue versus billed this month, and where’s the gap?
- Which BCBAs are overloaded, and which ones have capacity?
- What’s our payer mix by service line, and where are we leaving margin on the table?
EMR-native reporting answers compliance questions. Rova answers business questions.
Five pre-built report modules. Ready on day one.
Executive Summary
The one-page view your CFO and VP of Ops have been asking for. Key KPIs across authorization coverage, workforce utilization, service delivery, and revenue — in a single dashboard.
Authorization & Caseload
Authorized hours vs. rendered hours by client and payer, with upcoming authorization expiry dates. BCBA caseload by authorization status. The utilization and expiry visibility your clinical operations team needs.
Workforce & Productivity
Provider utilization vs. target. Billable hours by BCBA, by location, by service line. Caseload distribution. Supervision ratios. The visibility to manage your workforce before problems become expensive.
Service Delivery
Session completion rates. No-show trends. Frequency compliance. What your clients are actually receiving versus what’s authorized — and where the gaps are.
Earned Revenue & Rate Realization
Earned revenue versus billed versus collected — by payer, by service line, by location. Billing rate by payer. Where your margin is and where it’s going.
How It Works
1. Connect your data
We connect Rova to your EMR’s data export — CSV files, direct database connection, or SharePoint.
2. BIV configures your pipeline
One-time setup. We build the data pipeline, configure the semantic model, and deploy the reports to your Microsoft environment. Standard timeline: a few weeks.
3. Reports refresh on your schedule
Automated refresh — daily, weekly, or on-demand. Your team accesses reports in Power BI on licenses you already have.
4. You own it
Reports run in your Microsoft tenant. No vendor lock-in. No ongoing dependency on us to keep the lights on.
Who It’s For
Rova is built for independent ABA agencies with 20 or more providers who:
- Are on any EMR with structured data exports, API, or data warehouse
- Have Microsoft 365 (Power BI Pro licenses — even if they’re not being used yet)
- Don’t have a dedicated BI or IT team or want to build this from scratch
- Are tired of living in Excel or fighting with EMR-native reports
This is not for you if: You’re a solo BCBA practice, already have a BI stack you are happy with, or you’re looking for a compliance reporting tool. Rova is an operational analytics layer — it assumes you have your EMR and billing workflows in order.
Investment
Starts at $10,000 — one-time setup fee.
Includes:
- Full deployment of all five report modules
- Data pipeline configuration for your EMR and data sources
- Semantic model build and validation
- Power BI workspace setup and access configuration

Why not a subscription? The reports don’t need to be rebuilt every month. Once configured, Rova runs on your existing Microsoft infrastructure. We don’t charge you forever for something you already own.
FAQ
What EMRs does Rova work with?
Any EMR that can export structured data — via CSV export, direct API, or SQL Server connection. We’ve built and tested configurations for multiple EMRs. Let us know what you are using and we can quickly evaluate.
Do we need to buy new software?
No. Rova runs on Power BI Pro ($10/user/month) — licenses most Microsoft 365 agencies already have. If you want more control, Microsoft Fabric enables enhanced capabilities, which we configure and include in the setup.
How long does setup actually take?
1–2 weeks for a standard install. If you have many different systems, it could take longer — we’ll scope that in the discovery call.
What happens if we switch EMRs?
Rova is source-agnostic by design. Switching EMRs is a remapping exercise — we reconnect the pipeline to the new source, remap the fields, and validate. It’s not a rebuild.
Who do we call when something breaks?
Us. BIV Visualized provides support for any issues with the data pipeline or reports. Included in the setup is 30-day hypercare. Ongoing support packages are available.
Can we add our own custom reports on top?
Yes. The base package gives you five pre-built modules and a clean semantic model. Your team can build additional Power BI pages on top of it, or we can build them for you as add-ons.
